Dr. Shen is an assistant professor at Rowan University at Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. Shen works on the intersection between structures and wave propagation, in particular acoustic and elastic waves. The research mainly focuses on developing novel structures to control the propagation of waves in complex media for applications in sensing, acoustics, and healthcare.
